We recently lodged a DA for a very special project in the Hawkesbury Valley.
The original farm cottage will be restored and its material palette extended into the addition, maintaining the classic nature of its timber, steel, and corrugated roof sheeting.
The curve in the plan of the two-storey addition directs the views from the living room and bedroom down the valley towards the distant mountains. On the other side of the home, clerestory windows frame views to the hillside.
