On a re-imagined site in a former industrial area of inner Sydney, this proposed apartment scheme sets a decisive example of how new developments can improve the quality of life of not only residents but the greater public.
Our strategy involved the creation of a sunny public square on a quiet road, shaded by newly planted trees and ringed by hospitality and retail businesses. With the new building providing ample acoustic protection from nearby traffic, this public square is perfectly placed to serve new residents and the community at large.
Easy, comfortable living for both individuals and families was the driving idea behind the design of each apartment, manifesting in generous balconies, inbuilt planting, and sun-filled living spaces. These generous apartments exceed the State Environmental Planning Policy’s (SEPP65) minimum standards in order to provide the maximum possible amenity to residents.
A refined, sophisticated design and high-quality, robust material palette provide not just eye-catching expressions of form, but assured, low-maintenance building longevity well into the future.
